ATD Honored as Silver Stevie Award Winner in 2023 American Business Awards
Today, American Tire Distributors (ATD) announced that it was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Company of the Year - Automotive & Transport Equipment - Large category in The 21st Annual American Business Awards®.
“We are honored to have received this award alongside some of the best companies in the business,” said Stuart Schuette, President and CEO. “I am proud of each and every associate for striving for excellence and making ATD the best we can be.”
ATD was awarded this distinction because its commitment to enhancing the customer experience. To accomplish this goal, ATD implemented an ongoing relationship survey to receive extensive qualitative and quantitative feedback. It also revamped the onboarding process to help new hires succeed in their roles. As a result of these efforts, ATD’s first call resolution has increased by 12%, and the customer satisfaction score has increased by 4%.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 13. Tickets are now on sale.
More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Thought Leader of the Year, and App of the
Year, among others. ATD was nominated in the Company of the Year category for Automotive & Transport Equipment - Large.
More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
