ATD Recognized by Forbes, Among America’s Best Mid-Sized Employers
American Tire Distributors (ATD) was recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Mid-Sized Employers in 2021. This is the first year ATD has been honored with the ranking.
ATD was ranked 374 of 500 mid-sized businesses, those with 1,000-5,000 employees. The Huntersville-based company was among the Top 15 Retail and Wholesale businesses on the list. Data analytics company FICO claimed the No. 1 spot followed by California Institute of Technology and Bowling Green State University.
Each year, Forbes partners with market research firm Statista to rank 500 of America’s Best Employers, Large and Mid-Size. The list is compiled by surveying 50,000 American employees who are asked to rate whether they’d recommend their employer and to nominate organizations other than their own. Those businesses that receive the most recommendations make the final list of 500.
